THE REGION

The Šumava forests in the immediate vicinity present a compulsive invitation to magnificent tourist walks. The nearest attractive target is the Libín mountain (1 000m above sea level), at the foot of which the hotel is located. From the look-out tower at its top there is visible the surrounding panorama where you can choose further interesting tourist destinations for your walks. For those interested in monuments and  history, we can recommend a visit to nearby Český Krumlov, the Hluboká castle. You can also rent a bike from our hotel rental service  to take a ride along one of the many cycle routes. Visitors who like adrenalin activities will surely appreciate  the rope park on the Libín mountain, take a parachute jump or an air view from a plane from the nearby airfield. On the water reservoir Lipno you can take a sailboat trip, or from Vyšší Brod go rafting on the Vltava river. At the nearby golf course, golf lovers will find a good base, and in-line skaters can use the in-line track in the vicinity of the hotel.
